The BS in Health Care Management Flight Path Program requires 120 total credits to graduate, which includes 41 hours of general education courses, 3 hours of a Foundations of American Democracy course, 50 hours of health care management courses, 22 hours of related courses, and 7–14 elective hours.

Andrew McCart has 20+ years of experience as a faculty member and leader in higher education. He holds a master’s degree in strategic finance from Indiana University and a doctorate in public health management from the University of Louisville. His teaching and research focus on health care quality, operations management, Six Sigma, organizational leadership and project management.

McCart currently serves as chapter president and director for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Kentucky Chapter. He’s as board-certified health care executive and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He previously served as associate program director for the Master of Science (MS) in Health Administration program at the University of Louisville and has held multiple academic leadership roles in health care leadership, organizational leadership and health professions education.
